Holy Stone is a well-known drone manufacturer whose drones have garnered exceptional popularity over the past couple of years. But, are Holy Stone drones worth their price tag? And which Holy Stone drone is best for you?

Don’t worry, because we’ll help you find answers to these and many more drone-related questions, all in one place! On this page, we’ll take a closer look at the best Holy Stone drones and discuss which of their models are suitable for what type of drone flyers.

Before we jump right in and start examining their drones, let’s set aside a few sentences on the company itself. Founded in 2014, Holy Stone is one of the most innovative drone manufacturing companies on the market.

The company has quickly risen in the ranks of the best drone companies in the world. It has built up a strong reputation based on feature-packed products affordable for everyone’s budget.

All of this aside, how does Holy Stone fare on the current market, and more importantly, are their drones worth your money? To determine the answer to these essential questions, let’s take a closer look at the crucial aspects that mark Holy Stone:

Durable Products – Holy Stone drones are generally very durable and rugged. They aren’t assembled from poor-quality materials and can stand a beating even in the hands of a very inexperienced drone flyer.

Feature-packed – With Holy Stone, the only thing limiting you from choosing certain features is your budget. This is not to say that their products are expensive, but that they can meet all of your demands, as long as your budget supports it.

Impressive Product Support – On their site, you can find a “Support” tab, which features instruction manuals and drivers for each of their products. This makes their drones some of the most user-friendly products on the market, as you can get detailed instructions for each drone, no matter how cheap or expensive.

Excellent Customer Service – Holy Stone maintains an excellent reputation on review sites. More importantly than that, they offer a top-quality customer support service that’s available around the clock, every day of the week. Their live chat service is even divided into pre-sale and after-sale support centers so that you have a more streamlined experience tailored to your specific queries.

Holy Stone offers drones ranging from basic ones for beginners to decked-out products for professional users. Their products are divided into three categories – Beginner, advanced, and premium. Their products can significantly range in value, starting from $300 to more than $300. With that in mind, we’ll categorize our list in the same manner and cover the best Holy Stone drones from each of these classifications.

If you’re a novice drone flyer or don’t plan on flying your new drone frequently, it’s best to choose a Holy Stone drone that’s on the more affordable side of the spectrum. These two Holy Stone beginner drones are the best options for you:

If you’re looking for an inexpensive drone that offers good value for money, the HS170 Predator is the best option out there. With a headless security system , auto-hovering, and one key take-off/landing features, it’s designed with maximum user experience in mind. In line with this, the drone is ideal for kids and beginner drone flyers.

It can offer you up to 16 minutes of flight time, which isn’t super-impressive in the general sense but is more than anyone would ask for from a drone that comes at this price range. Even though it features a simple design, the drone comes with colorful LED lights, so you can even fly it at night. If you’re searching for a solid all-around drone for recreational use, look no further.

The Holy Stone HS210 Mini Drone is only 3.15’’x3.15’’x1.8’’ in size, meaning that it’s easy to carry anywhere, and you can even let it take off from your hand. But, despite its small stature, the drone packs a lot of features that make it ideal for beginners and casual users. This includes headless mode , 360 degree flips support and a one-key start/land feature.

This drone offers slightly better flight time than the previous one, as you can count on upward of 21 minutes of usage. The HS210 Mini also comes with some additional features that the previous one lacks. Most notably, this includes the Altitude Hold feature, which maintains the drone’s current height when your hands are off of the controller. For its price point, which is around $30, this is undoubtedly one of the best beginner drones out there.

For users who are looking for a drone with a more advanced drone with better features but aren’t ready to cash out upwards of $100, products from Holy Stone’s Advanced series are the ideal choice. Let’s take a closer look at two of their best products from this category:

For more advanced drone users, the F181W offers excellent value for the price it comes at. It was the first-ever drone with a Wi-Fi camera and FPV real-time transmission. It comes with all of the same features as the beginner drones and introduces a 720P HD wide-angle camera, allowing you to take pictures and video when flying it.

Even though it’s feature-packed, this drone is straightforward to fly and can remain stable even in strong winds. If you’re looking for a specialist drone for specific purposes, this isn’t the best option. However, if you’re looking for the best all-around drone for intermediate and advanced users, the F181W comes second to none.

Similar to the previous drone, the HS200D FPV drone has a 720P HD wide-angle camera and is capable of FPV real-time transmission streaming. Both the battery and camera on this drone are modular, making this product very easy to assemble and disassemble when necessary.

Implementing 6-axis gyro flying control, the HS200D is extremely easy to control. Plus, the responsive control functions make 3D flips a breeze. The drone has a flight time of about ten minutes and a solid range of 100 meters. It’s built from robust Advanced AB plastic, so it can take a solid beating and still work without a hitch. For its medium-range price, the HS200D is well-worth the money.

In case you’re ready to throw in more serious cash into your hobby or are even looking to make money by combining drone flying with a specific profession , their Premium drones have everything you’re looking for. With that in mind, here are the two best high-end Holy Stone drones:

The first of the two Holy Stone Premium Drones on our list, the HS700 FPV drone , is one of the most expensive drones this company has ever made. It comes with a 1080P Full HD camera, GPS with a “Follow me” mode , and several intelligent functions that make flying super simple. What’s more, the drone is compatible with other cameras, which is useful to know if you ever plan to splurge more money and upgrade to 4K or better.

The HS700 has a strong 1500KV brushless motor that offers great performance with lower noise. It can reach 15mph (25kph) and up to 40mph (60kph) when flying downwind. It has all of the bells and whistles you would look for in a premium drone. If you have a budget of a couple of hundred dollars set aside for your new drone, HS700 should be at the top of your list.

We’re finishing off this list on a very strong note, with Holy Stone’s most expensive premium drone. The HS720 is as good as they get, as it combines optimum performance with very intuitive features.

With an impressive 4K camera, the HS720 is suitable for even the most demanding professionals. Aside from the fantastic camera itself, the drone features an electronic image stabilization system, which helps you get the smoothest and best-looking photos and videos.

Utilizing 5G technology, their dedicated remote control provides you with an astonishing flight distance of up to 999 meters (0.6 miles). On top of all this, the drone comes with two powerful batteries , supplying you with up to 46 minutes of flight time.

Hopefully, this detailed page has helped you discern which one from the long list of Holy Stone drones is best for your individual needs. Understandably, the sheer variety of their products can make it challenging to pick only one product.

This is why you should factor in all of the essential aspects you’re looking for in your new drone, including battery life , quality of camera, stability, durability, and of course, product price. If you’ve already decided which Holy Stone drone is best for you, order one right away because their products are always flying off the shelves!
